Pearce TruckJim and Sharon Pearce started Pearce Heating and Air Conditioning, in 1972. Jim, a master home builder, was struggling to find a company who could make and install air conditioning duct work correctly. So as the old saying goes “if you want something done right you have to do it yourself”. And so, Pearce Heating and Air Conditioning was born. Jim and Sharon purchased a small office and shop in downtown Conway and have been there ever since. Thirty-seven years is a long time to be in business but as Jim says, “you have to give the customer what they want at a fair price, and that includes quality workmanship in everything you do’’.

Over the years, many things have changed, but at Pearce a great deal has stayed the same. Our motto is “Old fashioned service with today’s technology.” New tools and equipment have come on the scene, including our new laser-cutting machine. At Pearce, we still hand craft all our own duct work using the same old tools used to establish the company..

In 2004, Jim and Cathy Fossitt became the new owners of Pearce Heating & Air Conditioning, Inc. They have continued the tradition of giving the customer the same great service as Jim Pearce had built the company on. Jim and Cathy’s philosophy is to not just focus on parts and equipment, but also address the needs of all their customers, one at a time. Jim and Sharon Pearce are still very active with the company today. Sharon works to keep the office running smooth, while Jim shares his knowledge with the employees through hands-on training.
